When designing clean rooms, it is necessary to carefully consider the characteristics of doors and fixtures.
Discover DeltaDOORS range of products designed for sterile, contaminant-free environments.
The door of a cleanroom plays a primary role in hygiene. As a transition point between the external and the internal, aseptic environment, the door must be made to prevent contamination of pollutants and maintain adequate atmospheric pressure.
The DeltaDoors range is designed and manufactured by Delta2000. The Italy-based company now stands out internationally in the design of cleanrooms as well as walls, French doors, floors, cabinets and modular panels for sterile environments.
The products find use in pharmaceutical, chemical, electronic, and medical companies and in structured projects for the hospital sector.
The advantages of DeltaDoors as a supply for clean rooms
Doors in the DeltaDoors range are designed to allow passage into sterile environments while avoiding contamination with the outside world. Their effectiveness is attested by international certifications EN ISO, GMP, ASTM, CE, BSI.
All fixtures have common characteristics, including:
- Rough aluminum inner radial frame (2 mm);
- insulation (with material of your choice, as we will see later)
- Automated or manual operating mechanisms.
An additional advantage, which differentiates DeltaDoorsTM, is the possibility of making custom fixtures both technically and aesthetically. This availability of choice
enables the creation of faithful environments with respect to the cleanroom design phase.
Cleanroom design: room for customization
As a whole, the range of doors is designed to offer so many different solutions.
The goal is to meet every need when creating clean rooms.
In fact, 6 different types of elements are available. They can be combined with each other to make a door as customized as possible:
- Six different door solutions, varying in number and type;
- Three insulating materials;
- The dimensions of the doors
- Three standard and 11 custom colors;
- Five exterior coverings;
- Door accessories.
1. The six types of sashes and frames
The construction of clean rooms must necessarily take into account the available space. The door requires an area that allows passage between the inside and outside and movement of the leaf or casement. If the environment is limited, space-saving mechanisms should be used.
Therefore, the range includes six different types of fixtures:

- Single-leaf door, suitable for small spaces;
- One-and-a-half leaf door, for larger rooms where there remains, however, the need to preserve space in the movement of the door leaf;
- Double-leaf door, designed for large clean rooms with frequent passage of operators;
- Single-leaf sliding door, designed for small rooms where there is a lack of space for swing movement;
- Two-leaf sliding door, which allows operators and tools to pass through, even if there is no space for hinged doors;
- Single-leaf door With four-sided frame, for rooms of limited size.
2. The three insulating materials
Among the elements that can be combined to make the door are insulators. Cleanroom fixtures from the DeltaDoors range can be enhanced
with three insulating substances of your choice:
- Aluminum corrugated sheet Density 116 kg/m3;
- Rock wool Density 120 kg/m3;
- Polystyrene Flexural strength KPa > 250.
3. The dimensions of the doors
Another factor in customization is the door size in width.
In fact regardless of the number of sashes and the type of frame mechanism, the
horizontal dimension of the net light can be:
- 600 mm
- 700 mm
- 800 mm
- 900 mm
- 1000 mm
- 1100 mm
- 1200 mm
4. The four standard and ten custom colors
There is a standard color palette that includes three different shades of white and sand:
- Oyster White
- Signal White
- Pure White
- Sand
Alternatively, the choice can fall on the non-standard palette with an additional ten shades:
- Monviso Gray
- Red Horse
- Maquis Green
- Blue Amorgos
- Storm Gray
- Ivory
- Black
- Purple
- Yellow Africa
- Blue Faenza
5. The five outer coverings
Exterior cladding panels made of:
- High Pressure Laminate HPL
- Doluflex Aluminum Sheet
- Galvanized sheet iron
- Galvanized steel
- PVC
- Double glazing.
The guarantee for our client of the quality certification of all materials used in the production process of our cleanrooms, make Delta2000 products recognized and appreciated all over the world.
Our certifications:
- ASTM E84-18b,
- EN 13501-1:2007+A1:2009,
- EN 438-4
6. The door accessories

Door accessories for contamination-controlled environments are designed to increase the functionality and effectiveness of the doorframe.
The doors are equipped with magnets that allow the door to close immediately after personnel pass through the cleanroom. This solution has no aesthetic impact, since the magnets are hidden in the frame.
In addition, transit grilles are fitted to allow air to pass through without affecting the sterility of the environment.
